Aunt Stella's

오래간만에 그 가게에서 쿠키를 샀어요. 저는 엣날 그 쿠키를 정말 좋아했서요. 오래간만의 쿠키는 그다지 달지 않아서, 일시에 다섯 장도 먹었어요. 살 찔거에요.

I loved this cookie shop and I used to buy a lot of them. But I haven't found any branches near my old apartments for a long time. I think they were very sweet, but not now. I can eat 4 or 5 cookies at once though I used to eat only 1 or 2.

3-5. Lunch

　

로텐부르크의 거리를 삭책한 후에 벽 바로 밖에서 있는 식당에서 점심을 먹었어요.

After walking around Rothenburg, we went to a restaurant that was just outside of the walls.

　

콩소메, 샐러드, 결들이는 감자가 많이 있었어요.

The menu was consomme soup, salad, and a lot of baked potatoes.

　

메인은 흰 생선의 프라이옜어요. 타르타르소스가 정말 맜었어요. 무슨 생선이엤어요? 대구? 디저트는 치즈 무스예요. 이것도 맜었어요!

The main was fried white fish with tartar sauce. I love tartar sauce, so it was good. I wondered what kind of fish it was. codfish?

다만 식당 안에 아주 더웠어요. 다른 손님이 없지만 일본 투어 손님만 믾이 같은 방 안에 있어서, 바람이 안 불었어요. 있기에 다른 일분 투어 사람들하고 있고 싶지 안아요.

There were no customer but several tour groups of Japanese in the restaurant. We didn't feel comfortable because there were lots of Japanese in the same room, and it was extremely humid. I wish we could have been able to open all the windows.

Lunch at Harves

오늘 한국어 선생님하고 같이 런치를 먹었어요.

I had lunch at Harves with my Korean teacher.

　

런치 세트는 파스타하고 샐러드하고 드링크제하고 케이크가 있어요. 저는 바나나 크림 파이하고 아이스 티를 택했어요.

The lunch set includes drink, salad, and dessert. We can choose one cakes among three. I ordered banana cream pie and iced tea with orange.

　

재건 판체타<되지 햄>하고 열름 야채의 토마토 파스타인대, 선생님 건 중국 제의 먹하고 낙지의 알리오 올리오 파스타예요. 맛 있었어요.

I chose pasta tomato sauce with pancetta and summer Vegetables,and she chose aglio olio e peperoncino with potargo and octopus. Both were good. She told me that she always choose the wrong one she doesn't like but this time she succeeded.

The season of peaches

저는 매년 인터넷으로 복숭아를 선해 여약을 하지만, 해외 여행때 문에 금년 여름는 못 했어요. 정말 목고싶어요. 그래서 마음에 들은 가게, 'quil fait bon'에서 사러 갔어요.

I order peaches through the net in advance every year, but not this summer because of the trip to europe. I really love fruits, especially peaches. I miss them.

So I went buy fresh cakes to 'quil fait bon' which is one of my favorite cake shops in Nagoya.



이 것은 치즈하고 복숭아의 타르터예요. 좀 치즈 맛이 적었어요.

This is a cheese tart with peach jam and fresh peach.(756yen)
I'd rather taste cheese more. This was not the best balance for me.



이 것은 북숭아하고 우유의 프랑이에요.

This is a peach flan.(350yen)



이 것은 커커스터드하고 복숭아의 타르터예요. 전형적에 케이크 이지만 아주 마 있었어요. 저는 이 것을 체일 좋아했어요.

This is a peach tart with custard. (651yen) This one is common type, but I think the best when you want to have peach.

3-4. Schneeball

　

슈네발은 눈알이라는 의미의 과자예요. 가늘고 길은 반죽으로 둥글게 해서 기름에 튀긴 후에 설탕이나 초코를 씌워요. 불품보다 달지 않아지만, 아주 커서 칼로리가 높아요!

This is Scheeball, which means snow ball. The long stripes of dough is twisted and deep fried. Dusting sugar is a original one but there are several kinds of Scheeballs like cinnamon sugar, chocolate, coconuts, nuts and so on. It was not so sweet than I expected, but it must have had high calories.

　

슈네발 한 개에 1.5 유로 정도옜어요. 직인이 사진을 찍어도 촣는다고 해서 일부러 포즈를 취해 두 줬어요. 아저씨, 고마워요!

It cost about 1.5 Euro at all the shops in this town. The cook told me that I could take a picture of him and he posed.

　

재가 먹은 것은 시나몬 슈거맛인데 서로 나눈 초코맛도 맛있었어요. 수일 동안 지탱할 수 있는데 선물으로 살 사람이 있지만 여름에 가지고 돌아 갈 것은 조금 어려워요.

I choose the cinnamon sugar taste, but the chocolate one was also good. Travelers buy them as souvenirs but not in the summer.

3-1. Breakfast

아침 식사를 호텔에서 했어요. 독일떼 문에 흑빵라고 생각해지만 쿠페빵 같은 흰빵있었어요. 그 밖에 햄하고 치즈가 수종류 있었어요. 야채가 있으면 샌드위지가 만들 수 있어요. 잼하고 붕밀하고 초코 페이스트도 있어서, 빵에 바렀어요. 우유하고 요구르트는 정말 마있었어요. 두 개 불 안에 있는 요구르트의 색이 다라서, 맛도 다랐어요. 그 것은 뭐 알고 싶어요.

This is breakfast in the hotel. We expected rye bread, but they were not. I chose this one that looked like a French roll and tasted just like a roll. If we had veggies they would be sandwiches. There were also several kinds of jams and honeys. I tried all of them. I liked yogurt and milk there. There seem to be two kinds of yogurt, one was white colour and plain taste and the other was ivory and something like nuts. I would like to know what it was. I don't think someone put peanuts butter in yogurt by mistake.

2-4. Rolled Cabbage

라인강 주유선을 내려서, 버스로 장크어고아에 갔어요.　

We moved to St. Goar by bus after Rhine River cruise. We were going to have lunch in Heidelberg.

　　

점심은 하이델베르크 식당에서 먹었어요. 해가 떠서 기온이 높지만, 테라스에서는 사람들이 많이 있어요. 우리는 안채로 안내당했어요.

It was almost noon and the temperature was going up, yet there were a lot of people drinking beer and chatting at the terrace. We were brought to a small room in the restaurant. There were lots of lovely stuffs in it, so I should have took some pictures there.

　

신넌한 야채때 문에 전채 샐러드는 정말 맛있었어요.

The salad was so good because of fresh veggis. This dressing was just good as the perfect balanced of sour and salt.
The right is apple pie. It was not too much sugar in it. I prefer ice cream to normal cream, but it's American style.



이 것이 메인 캐비지 롤이에요. 커요. 하지만 이 캐비지는 조금 성장이 지나침이에요? 나이프로 칠 수 없었어요.

안내하는 여행사 작원은 도일하고 스위스의 식사는 기대하지 말라고 하지만 저는 좋아했어요.

Main dish was rolled cabbage with potatoes. It was huge. This cabbage was so hard that I straggled to cut it by knife. So as all the people in the room. I thought this purple veggi was beet but it was not. I like beets so I was a little bit disappointed.

2-1. Frankfurt am Main

여정보다 한 시간 빨리 겨우 독일 프랑ㅌ크푸르트 공항에 도착했어요. 여섯 시 전에 사람이 그다지 없었어요.

We finally arrived at Frankfurt airport one hour earlier than the schedule. It was earlier than 6 o'clock in the morning, so there were only few people.



돈을 바꾸고 싶으니까, 버스를 기다리는 동안 커피를 마시기로 했어요. 보세요. 이 겁하고 빵은 아주 컸어요. 사실은 누리 트래블러스 체크로 치르고 싶었지만 여기에서는 쓸 수 없었어요. 일본에서 유로 지펴로 바꿨면 좋았어요.

We needed to change into coins and we had lots of time to wait for our bus, so that we had a cup of coffee. See! The cup was so huge. Can you compare with my favorite ballpoint pen, orange big? Actually we wanted to change travelers checks but any of shops at Frankfurt airport couldn't accept them. We should have changed into Euro bills not into checks in Japan.

1-6. In-flight meal again

　

상해에서 심야에 출발하서 기내에서 도착지 시간으니까 다시 기내식이 나깄어요. 밥나 면이 있지만 다 먹을 때 빵을 배포하기 시작했어요. 빵의 방향을 무시해서 빈 젖시에 던져 넣었어요. 빵이 쓰러져요. 가끔 떨어질 것 같았어요.

겁에 금이 가서 주스가 새니까 새 겁을 부탁했어요. 그러자 그는 말 없이 다른 겁을 쌓았어요. 귀찮은 일을해 보였어요.

We left at almost midnight, but the time was set as the destination in a plane, so in-flight meal was served again!! When passengers were almost finishing their dinner, flight attendants dropped bread in a empty tray. Not put, but dropped. They don't care or just don't know the top and bottom of bread exists. The taste...never ask me.

I found a pool of juice under my plastic cup. There was a huge crack at the bottom of the cup, and juice was leaking. I asked a flight attendant to change the cup, but she put it into another and handed me them without saying anything. She seemed to be really annoyed because of me. Those seemed not to be her business.

　

곧 독일에 닿을 때 아침 식사를 나갔어요. 오믈렛또는 마파 면이였어요. 왜 아침에 마파여요? 케이트하고 과일하고 요구르트, 왜 디저트가 새 개 있었어요? 왜 오른 사진의 과일이 적었어요? 중국은 매우 이상해요.

These were breakfast. I agree to omelet, but why Mapo noodle? I sincerely want to ask if Chinese have Mapo at breakfast. How come there were three kinds of dessert; chocolate cake, yogurt, and fruit? And one more, didn't they care about the amount of each tray? Look, the fruit. We didn't eat any before I took this picture. China is like a wonderland.

1-4. Expo Dinner

기내식은 절망적이니까 엑스포에서저녁을 넉었어요.
지도에 서너 개의 식당표가 있지만 다 중국요리옜어요. 우리는 한국 음식을 먹고 샾는데...
안내기도 메뉴도 모두 중국어만이었어요. 상해 공항도 같았어요. 왜??? 중국 사람들은 옝어로 못 말해요? 아니면 세계 공용어는 중국어라고 생각해요?

"Now we have no hope for Chinese in-flight meals. We have to find good dinner at the Expo to survive."
There were several restaurants near the Japanese and Korean pavilions, but they were all Chinese. No Japanese. No Korean. And can you guess that the information on the roads and menus were all Chinese. Wow. So as in Shanghai International Airport. I really admire you China! we are so lucky we can understand Chinese letters.



식당에서는 메뉴 사진을 손가락잘로 주문했어요. 중국 화폐 단위는 '元 원'지만 기호는 일본엔 같은 ￥예요. '叉焼包￥12/分'를 한 게 주문하는데 나무 짬통 안에 세 게 만두가 있었어요. 돼지고기 만두 세 게에 150엔 정도였어요. 야채 만두는 세 게에 12원(130엔 정도)이었어요. 미트볼 수프는 8원이었어요! 정말 싸다...그리고 맛있었어요. 어느 것이나 맛은 담백해서, 간장이나 달고 짭짭한 소스로 먹은 것을 즐겼어요.

The menu says,'叉焼包￥12/分'. I didn't know the mark of "Gen" is "\". We ordered a cup of meatball soup and each one of pork and veggi steamed buns. We meant it. But see! Two sets of each kind. The price was so cheap that we misunderstood it. Anyway they are all delicious and we enjoyed them.



한국 파빌리온 가까는 식당에 갔어요.
이것은 쌀가루 국수하고 스프 만두엤어요. 이것들도 담백한 맛 있는데, 후추나 간장나 초를 넣어서 먹었어요. 다른 맛도 맛있었어요.

엑스포의 요리는 아주 맛있는데, 왜 기내식이 좋지 않아요?

We looked for Korean restaurants near the Korean pavilion, but we couldn't find any. My mom seemed to be interested in this dumpling soup, so we tried it. We ordered dumpling soup and rice noodle and shared them. We put something like pepper, vinegar,Chinese soy sauce and so on in them to make the taste different.

Everything at the Expo was good. Why not inflight meal?

카레는 좀 매워서 물 많이 마셨어요.

피타 샌드위치 Pita Sandwich

점심에 안데르센에서 산 피타 샌드위치를 먹었어요.
피타안에 야재가 많이 있어서 전말 맛 있었어요.

이 것은 한 게에 340엔이고 좀 비싸니까 싸면 좋겠어요.

I had Pita Sandwich for lunch today, which I bought from my favorite Bakery shop, Andersen.
I was careless so Pita has gotten a hole in the middle.
There are lots of veggies in it and I like it.

This costs 340yen...I hope it's a little bit cheeper.

토요일은 예외예요. Special Saturday

요죰 옷이 좀 작아져서 여덟 시이후는 안 먹기로 해요.
아주 배고프지만 마음을 비우고 먹고 싶은 라면을 참아요.

하지만 토요일만는 예외로 무엇이나 언제나 먹을 수 있어요.
끄래서 오늘 초밥을 싸 가지고 돌아와서 밤에 치즈케이트도 먹었어요.
맛 있었어요!!


Recently I've tried not to eat after 8 o'clock even though I feel hungry and I really want to eat Korean noodle because I think my clothes are a little bit tight.

BUT I've decided that Saturday is special,so I can have anything and any time I want on Saturdays. Yahoo!
Today I bought Susi and I had cheese cake in the night. GOOD!!

Subtle Problem - 미묘한 문제

이 것은 바질을 넣은 빵이에요.

장마가 든 지 이 빵을 먹을 때는 언제나 곰팡이가 아니라고 마음에 걸려요.

This is a peace of basil bread from Seijyo-Ishii.

When I have this bread after the rainy season started, I wonder if these are basil or mold. I'm pretty sure this is not a big problem. Really?

양배추하고 옹어의 파스타

양배추 한 게를 샀으니까, 이 주말은 파스타를 만들어서 먹었어요.
웅어하고 버섯 ( 만가닥버섯하고 에린기 ) 도 넣었어요.
이것은 아주 쉬워요.

저도 가끔은 요리를 하는 것이 있어요.

빵안에 지즈하고 호두가 많이 있어요.
이름은 '사무소치즈보루'예요.

이 빵은 한 게에 420엔이에요.
좀 비싸지만 전말 맛있어서 마음에 들어요.

저는 메이테쯔 백화점에서 갔어요.

백곰 먹었어요.

진짜 벡곰아이지만 잘게 깬 얼음이에요.
일본 그마머토 명산이서 일본어로 '시러그마'라고 해요.

이 것은 싸 가지고 가는 컵 아이스이지만 진짜 '시로그마'는 과일이 백곰의 얼굴하고 같아요.

저는 가게에서 진짜 '시로그마'의 사진을 찍어서 먹어 싶었지만, 기다리는 사람들이 많이 있어서 먹을 단념해서 컵 아이스를 싸 가지 왔어요.

저는 초콜릿하고 오렌지의 조합은 전말 좋아서 최고이다고 생각해요.
